Hirotaka Honda is experienced in the area of family law matters and Wills, Trusts & Estates. He has been involved in many cases of divorce/dissolution, family violence/abuse and especially child abduction. Around half of his clients use English as the first language and come from common law countries.

He handles international child abduction cases. He has been taking Hague Convention 1980 cases since he got the first return order from Englan to Japan after Japan concluded the convention.

He is greatly concerned with LGBT issues. It is his belief that diversity and equality are key words of family law.

He is also concerned about assisted reproductive technology. It is always good for a child to be born in this world.

He often handles children's' rights, criminal cases, harassment cases, contracts, torts and corporations. When defending children in juvenile courts, he always believes the child will sure to grown up more.

He conducts matters in a constructive and non-confrontational way.
